Retirement & Transition, Inc. founders Helena Stewart, R.N., M.S.G and Caroline V. Holton, R.N., M.A., pioneered one of the first day centers for older adults in Pennsylvania.  By working with families who were caring for dependent older adults, they learned first hand the effects of caregiving on the entire family unit.

Bringing caregiving to a manageable level became the driving force....the mission...of R&T.
